How do you handle viruses on your email servers? Do they get quarantined?

We delete any emails with detected viruses and emails with the following extensions:
















To protect our users, we also delete emails where hackers attempt to make an attachment hidden, encrypted or password protected so it cannot be scanned. This means any password protected/encrypted Zip file which our scanner cannot open, and any zip file which contains any of the aforementioned extension types.

With the rash of viruses going around (we are currently deleting thousands an hour per email server) ISP's cannot afford to bounce the messages. 99% of the viruses going around are being sent unknowingly by users workstations, and are being sent from random email addresses.
